Rules of the First Time

Application for Instructor Certificate

 

1.       Application can be made with effect from 1st April, 2013.

2.      Applicant should be over 21 years old.

3.      Applicant should have practiced The Ip Man Ving Tsun Lineage at least 5 years or above, in which they should have learnt three forms out of the followings, including Siu Lim Tau, Chum Kiu, Biu Gee ; Sticking Hands and Wooden Dummy practice in full set.

4.      Applicant should be recommended by his Sifu, who should be our member and possess a valid Instructor Certificate from our Association.  In case if his Sifu has passed away, his application can be supported by two endorsements from other fellow students of his Sifu.  These fellow students should be our member and possess a valid Instructor Certificate from our Association.

5.      In order to evaluate the accuracy and proficiency of the applicant¡¦s practice on Ving Tsun by our senior panel judges, applicant is required to submit together with his application a CD Rom or a USB in MP4 format to show his demonstration the forms as mentioned above.  We reserve the right to ask the applicant to come to our Association for examination if necessary.

6.      We will notify all applicants the result within 3 months from his/her submission date of the application.  We will return all application documents and the CD/USB for those who have not passed the evaluation.

7.      Those who cannot pass can re-submit their applications only after 6 months from his/her first submission date.

8.      Instructor fee with effect from 1st April, 2013 will be as follows:

Ø  Local Member          -     HKD600.00 (including China, Hong Kong, Taiwan & Macau)

Ø  Overseas Member    -    HKD1,600.00

Ø  The fee is payable every three years.

Ø  An extra administration fee of HKD100.00 will be charged on all applicants from China, Taiwan, Macau and Overseas.

9.      All information collected will be for the evaluation purpose only by our Association.  After the evaluation, the CD/USB will be returned to the applicants.  The Association will not be responsible for any other incidents.
